If you travel by car, bus or train, you need to reach Split or Makarska in central Dalmatia where you can take a ferry to island Brac. Ferries sail from Split to Supetar (Brac) and from Makarska to Sumartin (Brač).
If you are travelling to Brač by car, depending on the direction (Austria, Slovenia, Hungary) you need to go through Zagreb to Split or Makarska with main Croatian highway A1 or state road D1 to Split or Makarska.
From Split you can take car ferry to Supetar on island Brac (50 minutes) or from Makarska to Sumartin on island Brac(60 minutes).
Ferries sail from Split to Supetar and Makarska to Sumartin on a daily basis as well as catamaran from Split to Bol.

The train station in Split is right across the ferry station in Split where you can take a ferry to Supetar or catamaran to Bol.
Other option is to take a bus to Makarska (62 km from Split) where you can take a ferry to Sumartin on island Brac.
If you are travelling to Brac by bus there are connections from all bigger cities and places to Split.
If you are travelling by plane, the closest international airports are Split and Brač airport.
If you are coming to Split airport you need to take a local bus, rent a car or take a taxi to ferry station in Split or Makarska. If you are coming to Brač airport you need to take a local bus or take a taxi to Bol. Brač airport is only 15km far a way from Bol.
